Costa Rican Alejuela
This organic single origin coffee is grown and Produced in the Alajuela region of Costa Rica. Costa Rican coffees are considered by many to be the highest quality coffee in the South/Central American Region. Alajuela, as the coffee is called, possesses the flavors of apple and apricot as well as undertones of raisin and honey. This variety is grown at altitudes exceeding 1200 meters above sea level, classifying the bean as Strictly High Grown. Coffee beans grown at higher elevations grow slower and more dense than at lower elevations, imparting more flavor into the bean. This coffee is provided as an excellent medium roast.
