Organic Ethiopian Yirgacheffe
Ethiopia is considered to be the birth place of coffee cultivation and consumption. Of the three top coffee producing regions in Ethiopia, Yirgacheffe beans are consistently rated some of the highest in the world. They are grown at elevations from 1,700 to 2,200 meters above sea level, designating them as Strictly High Grown coffee beans. Beans grown at higher elevations grow slower and denser and as such pack the most flavor. Yirgacheffe coffee possesses bright acidity with floral notes and undertones of berry or wine. This is a very clean tasting coffee. We recommend a medium roast to experience the flavor and quality of this coffee to its greatest extent, although a darker roast will make it a little heavier and sweeter.
