Organic Costa Rican Tarrazu
This organic single origin coffee is grown and Produced in the Tarrazu region of Costa Rica. Tarrazu is considered by many to be the highest quality coffee in Costa Rica, and quite possibly the Central American Region. Tarrazu, as the coffee is called, possesses the flavors of dark chocolate with citrus fruit undertones. This variety is grown at altitudes exceeding 1200 meters above sea level, classifying the bean as Strictly High Grown. Coffee beans grown at higher elevations grow slower and more dense than at lower elevations, imparting more flavor into the bean. This coffee is excellent at a medium roast but will also serve well as a dark roast.
